Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
COVID-19 Update: Asymptomatic testing remains paused. We’re still asking our visitors to book in advance so we can accommodate everyone comfortably. It also helps us to know who has been in the home – if an outbreak of COVID-19 occurs, we can then inform everyone who has recently visited. We no longer require the wearing of face masks in the care home , however, we respect each individuals decision so we can still provide face masks if you wish to wear one.

Ashfield House Care Home is a small family run home where we are committed to providing professional and considerate care in our homely environment
The home is registered for 25 people for short or long term stay we are here for as long as you need us. The highest standard of care is provided at all times.
Delightfully set in the heart of Leominster a small market town in Herefordshire, our residential home is a picturesque Victorian house with a recent additional wing offering a relaxing warm and healthy atmosphere for our residents.

Services
We offer a variety of services to help make your stay here safe and enjoyable. Our services are personalised for each resident through the use of individually tailored care plans. Our staff work hard to ensure that our residents’ needs and wishes are always catered for. Some of our other care services include regular visits from healthcare professionals as well as chiropody, beauty treatments, and hairdressing.
Assisted Living
Many of our residents at Ashfield house require some degree of health and well-being monitoring. Our Care Home provides complimentary and customizable Assisted Living services for all our residents. By catering to the personal needs of each resident, we go just one step further to make everyone feel like they’re truly at home at Ashfield house.
Medication Monitoring
At Ashfield House we believe medication monitoring is very important. we use electronic monitoring systems to ensure the safe and effective provision of medication whilst closely with our local pharmacist and gp.

Life at Ashfield house
Residents are free to explore Ashfield House and settle in their favourite part of the home, choosing to socialise with other residents, meet visiting family and friends, or to simply relax on their own in a quiet area. We have a variety of areas to choose from, each with their own character.
Dining
Ashfield House is now working in partnership with Apetito to provide your loved ones with a nutritious and tasty meals. All meals are are tailored to each persons dietary requirements including all allergies and specially textured diets. For those with a smaller appetite we can provided energy packed meals to ensure weight management . All residents are provided with daily menus and choices. Meals are served in the friendly comfort of their own room if they wish or in our dining room for a more sociable atmosphere. Special arrangements can also be made in advance for guests to dine with residents. Great care is taken to provide a well balanced, varied and interesting menu, all special diets can be catered for.
Daily Activities
Every effort is made to provide residents with additional interests. Our activities coordinator has a comprehensive programme to include regular outings, arts and crafts, board games, gardening, song and dance and for the more active arm chair aerobics. We are also very lucky to have regular visits from volunteers and local clubs and schools.
Gardens
Within the grounds of Ashfield House there is room for the residents to explore and enjoy the gardens safely. Weather permitting the garden plays host to a series of outdoor events and activities throughout the year. Croquet on the lawn, outdoor dining, or to just sit back and enjoy the view and peace and quiet, there are lots of strategically placed benches, tables and seats to stop and take a break.
There is also a large decked area with additional seating where you can sit and watch the wildlife or take part in our gardening club, help with the herb garden, plants and flowers with the addition of sensory chimes and scented plants providing the perfect tranquil place to sit and meditate.
